Maha Discount Mart was inaugurated at Batamalloo Srinagar in which people from different walks of life were invited thus marking a significant step towards promoting local businesses and empowering the community.
While speaking on the occasion , the owner of Maha discount mart Waseem Ahmad Khan said that The mart aims to provide competitive pricing and immediate access to a wide range of products, challenging the misconception that online shopping offers better deals.
During the inauguration ceremony, Prominent Social Activist Inam Un Nabi who is also known to be vocal for local, emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses to foster economic growth and sustainability within the community. Inam highlighted the flexibility of local markets in negotiating prices and offering discounts, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship between customers and sellers.

The Maha Discount Mart promises to eliminate additional charges like shipping fees by sourcing products from local suppliers, making purchases more cost-effective for customers, said BTA President Peer Imtiyaz Ul Hassan.
