People's Conference Provincial Secretary Irfan Mattoo today said that people of Eidgah Srinagar have been deprived of drinking water for many days.
Matoo who is also a socio-political activist also said that many epidemic diseases have also triggred in the area due to pollen of Russian poplar.
"On the one side people are suffering from lack of drinking water and on the other hand due to the Russian poplar pollen, many epidemics have arisen in Talkinwari, Tanmar and many areas of Eidgah."
