J&K Chapter of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists Established in Srinagar

Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists (IACP), New Delhi is thrilled to announce the establishment of the first ever Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of IACP.

Officially registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (Reg. No. 3694), the IACP is one of the most longstanding associations in the field, established in 1968.  This new chapter is dedicated to advancing mental healthcare and the profession of clinical psychology in the Jammu and Kashmir region.

The Jammu and Kashmir Chapter will be steered by a team of esteemed professionals committed to fulfilling the Association's goals. We are honored to introduce the following office bearers:

* President: Mr. Firdous Ahmad
* General Secretary: Dr. Mohammad Akmal Shah
* Treasurer: Dr. Bilal Ahmad Teli

Under the leadership of Mr. Firdous Ahmad and his team, the chapter will strive to:

* Raise awareness about the significance of mental health
* Advocate for best practices in clinical psychology
* Provide support and resources to mental health professionals in the region

*Chapter's Key Objectives*

The Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists has several key objectives, including:

* Encouraging a professional approach in the field
* Disseminating knowledge on new methods and practices in clinical psychology
