Press Council of India Engages Srinagar Newspaper Owners, Editors in Crucial Discussions

A team from the Press Council of India has arrived in Srinagar and met with newspaper owners and editors. During the meeting, they briefed the team about advertisements and other related matters.

Meanwhile, the team will meet with the owners and editors of all newspapers at the Circuit House in Srinagar on Thursday to listen to their concerns.

According to the details, a four-member team from the Press Council of India arrived in Srinagar on Wednesday. They met with some newspaper owners and editors from the Valley at the auditorium of the Information and Public Relations Department, where they gathered information about the challenges they are facing.

During the meeting, the editors and owners of the newspapers provided detailed information about their publications and the advertisements they receive. The team noted all the issues and demands raised, assuring them that they would bring these concerns to the attention of the authorities and ensure they are addressed.

The team attentively listened to the issues raised by newspaper owners and editors. They also announced that media representatives and newspaper owners interested in meeting them can do so on July 11th from 10 am at the Circuit House in Srinagar. They encouraged those interested to come to Circuit House Church Lane, Srinagar, at 10 am to present their demands and concerns directly to them.
