The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today officially confirmed the appointment of RR Swain as the Director General of Police (DGP) for Jammu and Kashmir.
The confirmation is effective from the date he assumed charge of the position and will remain in effect until September 30, 2024, or until further orders are issued.
