On the eve of the 78th Independence Day, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Lolab Sogam, Javid Naseem Masoodi, recognized the achievements of Peerzada Muneer, a young entrepreneur from Lolab Valley. The SDM presented Muneer with a certificate of appreciation for his contributions to local entrepreneurship.
Muneer, a resident of Lalpora village, has established successful business ventures under the Loreal Professional Salons banner, including 1-Signature Saloon and Loreal Professional Saloon in Baramulla and Kupwara. His enterprises have created job opportunities for over 60 young professionals in the region.
In addition to his local success, Muneer has been honored with the 'Outstanding Saloon Award of The Year' by Global Business Icons in New Delhi.
The district administration of Kupwara is actively promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship through various schemes, aiming to foster sustainable livelihoods and economic growth. This fiscal year, significant financial support has been provided to aspiring entrepreneurs under centrally sponsored schemes, further empowering the youth of Kupwara to pursue their business ventures.
