Empowering Our Athletes

MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, alongside Jenab Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, flagged off the athletes of Team India from J&K. These talented individuals are set to represent the nation in the Asia World Cup in Malaysia. Shah expressed immense pride in their determination, describing them as a beacon of inspiration for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, and extended his best wishes for their success.

Celebrating the Backbone of Kashmir’s Economy

At a seminar organized by JKPICCA, MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, joined Jenab Javed Ahmad Dar, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives & Election, along with Jenab Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister,  Jenab Riyaz Bedar (MLA Pattan), Jenab G.M. Mir (MLA Rajpora), and Jenab Showkat Hussain Ganai (MLA Zainapora). Together, they highlighted the critical role of the horticulture sector in shaping Jammu and Kashmir’s economic future. Shah emphasized the importance of innovation and collective efforts to strengthen this vital sector, calling it a legacy of growth and resilience that drives prosperity in the region.

Spreading Warmth and Hope

At an event organized by the Kashmir Welfare Trust, MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, served as the Chief Guest and distributed Winter Kits to needy families. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to Manzoor Wangnoo for spearheading this noble initiative, which exemplifies the spirit of compassion and shared social responsibility.

Earlier in the day, MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, visited the villages of Shrai, Vahipora, Kralweth, and Lalpora in his constituency. He offered condolences and sympathies to families mourning the loss of their loved ones, prayed for the departed souls, and assured the bereaved families of his continued support during their time of grief.
