In a bid to strengthen governance and address public concerns, MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah chaired a high-level review meeting of sub-division officials at the Town Hall Kunzer today.
The meeting witnessed the participation of key officials, including the SDM Tangmarg, XEN R&B, XEN PHE, AEE, BMO Kunzer, and BDOs of all 7 blocks of the constituency.
During the meeting, Mr. Shah underscored the importance of transparent and efficient governance at the grassroots level. He urged officials to ensure the effective implementation of government schemes, emphasizing that their benefits must reach every citizen. He further instructed the officials to intensify awareness campaigns, enabling the public to fully utilize the opportunities provided by various welfare programs.
In a move to address infrastructure challenges, the MLA inspected the water tank at Batpora, where he reviewed its functioning. He directed concerned officials to resolve any operational issues without delay, reaffirming his commitment to ensuring basic amenities for all residents.
Later in the day, Mr. Shah conducted a public darbar at Tehsil Karhama, which drew a large gathering of locals. The participants raised various issues and grievances. Responding to the concerns, Mr. Shah assured prompt action and reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of the Gulmarg constituency.
The events in Kunzer and Karhama highlighted the MLA’s unwavering dedication to public service and his proactive approach toward addressing the needs of his constituency.
