Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and President of Pensioners United Front, Abdul Qayoom Wani, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former MLC and senior National Conference leader Ghulam Nabi Shaheen.
In a condolence statement, Wani described Shaheen as a people-friendly socio-political figure who made significant contributions to public welfare. He noted that the late leader's commitment to the community left a lasting impact on the region.
Wani extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to Shaheen’s daughter, National Conference spokesperson Sara Hayat, praying for strength and courage for her and the family to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul.
Leaders and members of JKCSF and the Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Pensioners United Front (JKLPUF) also expressed their sympathy and solidarity with the grieving family and offered prayers for eternal peace to the departed.
