Dry Days Ahead in Kashmir with a Splash of Thunder
The Kashmir Valley is expected to witness a mix of mostly dry weather with intermittent thundershowers over the next seven days, according to the latest forecast.
While the majority of the days—particularly from May 27 to 29—will remain largely dry, there is a consistent possibility of brief thundershowers in isolated areas, especially during the late afternoon and evening hours.
May 30 is projected to see more widespread thundershower activity across Jammu and Kashmir, with cloudy to rainy conditions dominating the day. On May 31, a few regions may still experience light showers, though the day is expected to remain mostly dry elsewhere.
The weather is likely to stabilize on June 1, bringing dry conditions, while June 2 may again see isolated thundershowers.
Forecasters have also warned of possible hailstorms and gusty winds accompanying these showers in some areas. Due to the localized nature of such weather events, predicting specific impact zones and timing remains challenging.
Residents and tourists are advised to stay updated with local weather advisories and exercise caution during sudden weather changes.
