National Chairman ( Natf ) National Anti-Terrorism Front Vishal Chopra, called on the DIG Jammu–Samba–Kathua Range, Shiv Kumar, IPS, during a courtesy meeting.
During the interaction, Shri Chopra lauded the bravery and professionalism of the security forces for successfully neutralizing militants and ensuring the safety of the region. He expressed deep appreciation for their unwavering dedication and commitment to maintaining peace and security.
Chopra also commended the Jammu & Kashmir Police for their sustained crackdown on the growing menace of drug trafficking, noting that drug peddlers are being apprehended on a regular basis. He further praised the police for achieving significant success in curbing bovine smuggling across the range.
Congratulating DIG Shiv Kumar, IPS, Chopra stated that under his dynamic leadership, the overall crime rate in the Jammu, Samba, and Kathua districts has witnessed a considerable decline. He, along with his team, extended warm congratulations to the DIG for these commendable achievements and his effective policing.
DIG congratulated the National Chairman of NATF and assured full support of the Jammu & Kashmir Police. He stated that the responsibility entrusted to the Chairman is for the greater good of the nation, and the J&K Police will work together with NATF to curb terrorism, drug trafficking, and bovine smuggling.
