The University of Kashmir has secured first position in the 17th National Youth Parliament Competition organised by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs at the Parliament of India in New Delhi.
Competing against 59 universities from across the country, the team from the University of Kashmir emerged as the national champion, showcasing impressive parliamentary skills, strong articulation and leadership during the competition.
In recognition of the achievement, 55 students from the university will attend the prize distribution ceremony at the Parliament of India in New Delhi. During the event, the team will also present a re-performance of their Youth Parliament session.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir, Nilofer Khan, congratulated the students for their remarkable accomplishment and described the victory as a moment of great pride for the university and the region.
She appreciated the efforts and dedication of the students and faculty members who guided the team, expressing hope that the achievement would inspire more students to actively participate in such national platforms.
