BHADERWAH,OCT 20: In a prompt action, a team headed by range officer Bhalessa and other field functionaries vacated the forest land encroached in compartment no 9 /Bh of forest division Bhaderwah . The encroachment was removed by Forest team after a specific information that some persons had encroached forest land and after that forest officials immediately swung into action and started eviction proceedings under Section 6(b),(f), Sec.6(A) and 48(A) of J&K Forest Act 1987 AD and vacated the 21 kanal Forest land. A case has been registered against the offender. Range Officer Bhalessa Sheikh Zafar Ullah briefed that Forest Department is very serious regarding such encroachment on forest land and it will take stringent action regarding illegal activities on forest resources.He further informed that forest team evicted the land under the overall supervision of DFO Bhaderwah Vivek Verm and CF Chenab Circle T B Singh .
