After coldest night, considerable improvement in mercury in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 25 : After witnessing coldest night at minus 3.2 degree Celsius in a decade during the month of November, the minimum temperature witnessed considerable improvement in the region, where Leh remained coldest at minus 10.6 degree C followed by border town of Kargil which was cold at minus 5.4 degree.
A fresh Western Disturbance, originating in the Arabian Sea is approaching and could hit the region through Afghanistan and Pakistan by November 29 which can cause snow and rain, a Met department spokesman
said here on Saturday afternoon.
