Train service resumes in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 28 : Train services resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended for a day due to security reasons in the Kashmir valley, where separatists had called for a general strike to express solidarity with the detenus, lodged in different jails within and outside the state.
‘We have resumed all train runs in the Kashmir valley today,’ a senior railway official said.
This was for the 45th time rail service was suspended in the valley yesterday during 2017, causing a loss of over 1.30 crore to railways this year.
