Ganderbal: A woman allegedly set herself ablaze in forest area of Gund in this Central district on Thursday evening, immediately after the incident happens she was admitted in SKIMS.
As per the reports available the victim was later identified as Zamrooda wife of Shabir Ahmad Khan resident of Razia Kadal Srinagar, mother of two sets herself ablaze in Gund Kangan on Thursday evening and had suffered nearly 79 percent burn injuries. Zamrooda had a dispute with her husband Shabir Ahmad Khan since one year and used to fight almost every other day, officials said.
In this regard police has registered a case and taken up further investigation.
