Jammu: n a much publicised case of embezzlement and scam , the two link roads of PMGSY division Kishtwar including KewaPul Kither road and Tipri Patnazi road had became golden era for officers / officials and contractors to withdraw huge chunk of money without performing work on the ground . As few days ago a scam was exposed by JK Against Corruption Team Kishtwar , today through a reliable source information was recieved that during
the disbursing of compensation of land, building, trees and others things the corrupt officers had withdrawn huge chunk of money and had increased the measurement of road length .
Source reveals that from construction of road every house building was removed for its construction but its very surprising that few days ago PMGSY release the compensation of house that is not under survey of road alignment .
Beside all these PMGSY division Kishtwar failed to maintain road as locals have to remove slides ,stones to reach their destinations .
Reasoning the fact KewaPul Kither road and Tipri Patnazi road had
became golden era for contractors and PMGSY officers of Kishtwar division in which huge scam and mismanagement is surfacing .
JK Against Corruption Chairman Mr Vikram Singh Badwal and Vice Chairman Ms Lila Jamwal demanded personal intervention of J&K Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervence in this matter and constitute a vigilance Inquiry so as erring officers shall be treated with iron hands according to law.
