Students protest against non-availability of teaching staff in Kangan

Ganderbal: Students of the Government Middle school Gund and Hari Ganiwan Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district Thursday held a protest demonstration in two different places and blocked Srinagar-Leh road. They were protesting against the non availability of teaching staff in their schools.
Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Age that protesting students marched towards Srinagar-Leh highway and blockedoi it, which disrupting vehicular movement for hours. As a result of the protest, commuters face a lot of inconvenience.
The students of both the schools of Kangan sit on two different places said they would no longer tolerate the non-availability of teaching staff and the government must fascinates on our grievance, they said.
After the hours of protest, the agitating students dispersed peacefully after getting some assurances.
Meanwhile, the students of Government higher secondary School Chatergul in Kangan area on Thursday staged protests in solidarity with the students of the valley against alleged highhandedness of government forces across Kashmir valley especially Pulwama last week.
Chanting pro-freedom and anti-India slogans the students of Government high secondary school Chittergul come out their school and staged strong protest in forest area of Ganderbal.
