Handwara: ADC, Handwara, Muzafer Hussain today inaugurated beekeeping unit at handwara. He advised the people to adopt latest technology in apiculture and agriculture field to increase production, productivity and the economic status.
He made these comments while inaugurating bee keeping unit organised by the Agriculture Department in Handwara.
ADC Handwara said the objective of organising the beekeeping unit is to acquaint the people with the modern apiculture , tools and equipments and also help them to avail benefits of various schemes at their doorsteps. He appreciated the efforts of the department for organising such fairs to distribute bee hives among the people of Handwara.
Sub division Agriculture officer G M Shah said the Department of Agriculture was making all efforts for achieving higher productivity in bees and in future we will give training to the people so they can easily grow the production of bees.
“He also advised the farmers to avail the benefits of various schemes launched by the department,”
