Anantnag, April 24: A day long programme on the importance of computer science in the modern world was organized by Syed Jaffer Memorial Institute (SJMI), Chittergul, Anantnag.
The programme was organized with an objective to make the students of the institution familiar about the arena of computers. All the students/teachers of the institution, parents and the members of School management attended the programme.
Chairman, SJMI, Mohammed Iqbal Malik, General Secretary SJMI Iqbal A Sheikh, , Deputy Chairman SJMI Sajad Ahmad Khan, , Principal SJMI, Shri. Ali Mohammad Tantary and Ghulam Hassan Sheikh Spoke the occasion and threw light on the importance of computers. The speakers advised the students of the institution to channelize their interest and energy in the computer world for the better future.
On the occasion, various students of the institution also spoke on the topic and highlighted the importance of studying the computers.
On the conclusion of the programme, the vote of thanks was presented by Reyaz Ahmad Mir who was also announcer of the programme.
