DGP visits police hospital, inaugurates up-graded diagnostic facilities, Janaushadhi Kendra

 JAMMU, APRIL 25: Director General of Police (DGP) Dr. S.P Vaid  today visited Police Hospital Jammu and commissioned some upgraded diagnostic facilities for the patients. Pradhan Mantri Bhartia Janaushadhi Kendra, a centre of affordable medicines within easy reach was also inaugurated by the DGP.

The facilities commissioned, will suffice for the diagnostic facilities of the patients and also make available quality medicines on cheaper rates to them. Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Dr. Kirti Bhushan Sharma briefed the DGP about the upgraded facilities. State Coordinator BPPI Mrs. Rifat Nazir apprised the DGP about medicines made available in the Pradhan Mantri Bhartia Janaushadhi Kendra.

Dr. Vaid, accompanied by Special DG PHQ Shri V.K Singh, discussed with the officers issues with regard to the up-gradation of building infrastructure for the hospital. He also visited the area adjacent to District Police Lines and Security Lines within the premises.

DGP instructed the officers to raise a sports stadium with health building facilities at the available land so as the Jawans and officers of different units stationed there are benefitted.

Among others ADGP Armed Shri A.K Choudhary, IGsP; Dr. S.D. Singh Jamwal, Shri Jagjit Kumar,  Shri Anand Jain, DIG Jammu Shri Rafiq-ul Hassan, AIGsP Shri Mubassir Latifi, Shri Abdul Waheed Shah, Executive Engineer PCD Shri Khursheed Ahmad. Wani and a galaxy of police officers/ doctors was present on the occasion.

chool Grand.  Sh.Chaman Lal (Headmaster), Teachers and Staff alongwith school childern and senior citizens of the area were present on the occasion .

Sweets were also distributed among the school childern at both the schools. These efforts of J&K Police were appreciated by civil society members and school staff present on the ocassion saying that it will go a long-way in developing close relationship  of Police with school childern and making them aware about the importance of maintaining Hygienic & clean school environment.
