Baramulla: District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash during a review meeting held at Baramulla today took a comprehensive account of the implementation of Centrally Sponsored scheme Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) in the district. The DDC is the Chairman of district level implementation committee for PMKSY.
SE Hydraulic,JD Planning, A.G. Malik , ACR Baramulla, G.A. Malla., ACD, CHO, CAO, DFO, ASCO were present during the meeting.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss and ensure proper implementation of the projects on war-foot basis under the PMKSY. It also aimed at ensuring coordination between different departments for completing the pending developmental schemes.
The meeting also took serious note of the pending projects under PMKSY in the district. The DDC directed the members of the District Level Implementation Committee (SE Hydraulic, ACD, CHO, CAO, DFO, ASCO etc.) to revisit the formulation of clusters, add areas left out in the plan, rationalize the distribution of funds for equitable development of each and every area of the district, and offer relevant sub-schemes under PMKSY to areas as per specified classification. A follow up meeting scheduled to be held on 5th May, Friday will discuss the implementation of the agenda discussed today.
