Srinagar: At least six civilians, including a woman, were wounded in a grenade blast in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
GNS news agency, quoting an unnamed police officer, reported that the grenade was lobbed at a forces’ vehicle. The grenade missed the target and exploded on the roadside, leaving six civilians wounded.
The injured have been hospitalised, the report quoted the officer as having said.
The area has been cordoned off by the forces to nab the attacker, he said. (GNS)
