Jammu, May 25 : At least five persons including a child were killed while eight others injured after their car hit parapet on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway near Ghagwal in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Police said that the accident occurred at Tapyal at around 0200 hrs when the car was heading towards Punjab from Jammu.
The deceased were identified as Labpreet Singh (30), son of Sandu Singh, Punnu (30) wife of Atras, Veena wife of Ram Paul, Geeta Devi (60) wife of Kashmira Lal, one unidentified toddler.
Police said that all injured persons were admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
