Ishfaq supports demands of Patwaris and ReT Teachers urges Govt to redress their genuine demands

Ganderbal : Senior NC leader and MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Wednesday urged government to consider the demands of Patwaris and Rehber e Taleem Teachers under SSA.

While urging the government to immediately redress the genuine demands of J&K Patwar Association, NC  MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar said that due to the strike of patwaris people are suffering a lot.

In a statement issued today, Ishfaq said the Government has been giving assurances and making promises with the patwaris that their genuine grievances would be redressed, but nothing has been done on the ground, forcing them to go on strike.

The demands of the Patwar Association include grade pay of Patwaris, timely departmental Promotion, creation of Patwar Halqas, enhancement of allowances for Patwaris and rent for Patwar Khanna  are all genuine demands, which the Government must fulfil without any further delay.

He further said that on one hand the government claims so high of improving the standards of education but on the other it forces the nation builders to remain off the schools and come on roads for their genuine demand of  delinking of SSA salaries, the statement added.

Sheikh Ishfaq stressed upon the Government to de-linking SSA salary and  release 2-3 months pending salary of SSA teachers.

He said that due to the pending salary these teachers are on the verge of starvation and unable to provide basic needs to their family members.

Ishfaq said that the  any politics that costs future of the nation and career of our budding flowers can’t be accepted and added that the Govt should consider the genuine demands of Rehbar e Taleem Teachers and redress their grievences in the interest of innocent and poor student community of the State.
