Gun shots heard in South Kashmir during search operation
Pulwama, June 27: Gun shots were heard in Bellow village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district after Government Forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation.
Reports said that search operation was launched after a tip off about the presence of militants in the area. “Shortly after the launch of operation, atmosphere was reverberated with gun shots,” said eyewitnesses.
SSP Pulwama Chowdary Aslam confirmed that a search operation has been launched in Bellow village after the inputs about the presence of militants.
He said that Forces fired some warning shots in air, however, there was no response from militants. (CNS)
