Junior Scale KAS Association call on Chief Secretary; discuss various issues

Srinagar, May 10: Officers of Junior Scale KAS Association today call on the newly appointed Chief Secretary at Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
During this meeting they greeted the newly appointed Chief Secretary. The officers discussed various issues pertaining to their cadre management and carrier progression and requested him to consider their issues on priority.
The Junior Scale KAS Association condemned what they termed ‘unwarranted treatment’ of KAS officers across the state and called for a ‘conducive’ atmosphere to allow Officers to function in a ‘free, fair, impartial and dignified’ manner.
In this meeting they said that the Junior Scale KAS Association commonly known as AJJSKA which represents over 400 young KAS officers held a meeting on important to discuss various issues concerning the officers. “Burning issues like the unwarranted and undignified treatment meted out to some KAS officers in particular and other service officers in general working in the Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that the association resolved to strongly condemn the recent cases of unwarranted and disrespectful treatment meted out to some of the KAS officers working in different parts of the state.
The Chief Secretary assured these KAS officers that all the issues pertaining to their services will be considered and redressed on priority.
