Ladhoo boy laid to rest amid high pitched sloganeering

Srinagar: Thousands of people Saturday attended the funeral prayers of slain student Faizan Ahmad Poswal, a 10th class student son of Dr. Abdul Gani who was killed in government forces firing during clashes near the encounter site at Chatpora in Pulwama town on Friday.

Witness told Kashmir Reader that despite heavy rainfall, thousands of people from different areas of Pulwama district reached Gosainad, Ladhoo and participated in the last rites of the slain boy.

The mourners were shouting pro-freedom, pro-militants and anti-India slogans.(Agencies)
