PHQ bids farewell to SSP M.A Tak Officers highlight contribution of outgoing officer

Srinagar, Jun 30 : A warm send off was given to SSP Police Transport Workshop Srinagar Mohammad Amin Tak at an impressive function held at Police Headquarters here today. The officer superannuated today after rendering his services at different positions in the department.
DGP, while bidding adieu to the outgoing officer, highlighted his contribution during more than 37 years of service. He praised his commitment and honesty towards duties. DGP wished him a prosperous post retirement life.
Spl. DG Headquarter V.K Singh, ADGP Law & Order/ Security/ Home guards Munir Ahmad Khan, IG Headquarter Anand Jain, AIG P&T Mubassir Latifi and AIG Building Abdul Waheed Shah also highlighted the contribution of the outgoing officer.
On this occasion officers highlighted the capabilities of the officer and said that he, with excellent organisational skills, contributed much to the organisation. They wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life. The officers spoke high about the contribution and expertise of Mohammad Amin Tak and said that a highly skilled and professional officer was departing from the department.
Tak joined the department in the year 1981 and remained posted in different wings during his service career. He was presently posted as SSP Police Transport Workshop Srinagar. For his dedication towards duties, Tak was awarded with DGP Commendation Medal in 1998, Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2004 and Sher-i-Kashmir Police Medal for Meritorious Service in the year 2010.
Among other the function was attended by IGsP Sunil Kumar, Jagjit Kumar and AIsGP, M. Suleman Choudhary, Sameer Rekhi, Manoj Kumar Pandith, Gulzar Ahmad, Jt. Director Prosecution Gowhar Hussain, CAO/FA Omar Jan and all gazetted officers posted in PHQ. (KNS)
