UJC pays tribute to slain militants and civilians
Srinagar, July 11, : United Jihad Council Tuesday paid tributes to the two militants and civilians killed in different parts of Kashmir Valley from past many days.
The UJC spokesperson Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted organization Chief Syed Salahuddin as having said that the suppressive and repressive policies pursued by India will never break the resolve of freedom loving people of Kashmir. While paying tribute to two militants killed in Shopian gunfight in which a JCO and other soldiers were wounded, Syed Salahuddin said the patience and endurance of people of Kashmir are exceptional.
He also paid tribute to student Ubaid Manzoor who lost his life in BSF firing and said world community has closed its eyes shut and is callous towards the hardships of Kashmiri people. “India should keep her promise and resolve Kashmir issue in the light of UN resolutions,” he said and expressed anguish over the unabated killings of civilians in Kashmir Valley.
