Sopore: The 2-day annual fest – Firmamento Fiesta by Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin higher secondary School Sopore concluded with a range of activities and programs. This inter-school fest is the first of its kind organized by any educational institute in the valley. Students from across the valley coming from Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara and Handwara participated in this mega event.
Cultural programs like Kashmiri ‘Rouff’ were the main attraction of the programYoung and Talented students enthralled audiences with the amazing on stage performanceslarge gathering including the students from various institutions and some prominent members of the society were present.
The students of various schools got an opportunity to present their thoughts and opinions on culture and literacy.The guests as well as the hosts enthusiastically showed their keen interest in this event hence making it a success festival of students included competitions in debate, painting, collage making, calligraphy, quiz etc.
Many schools from far off areas in frontier district Kupwara also participated in the event.
