Sopore : Clashes reported at old town area of Sopore in north kashmir’s Baramulla District on Friday.
According to reports clashes erupted between stone throwing youth and security forces at Jamia Majid area of Sopore soon after Friday congregational prayers, reports said that group of youth after the congregational prayers stated pelting stones on deployed forces who in turn retaliated by lobbing tear gas shells to disperse the agitated youth, meanwhile one of the youth arrested during clashes, who later identified as Mohammad Ibrahim of Ningli Sopore.
However overall situation remained calm with all business establishments were running peacefully in the town.
