Acting swiftly following a complaint in this regard, lodged yesterday by mother of the victim, Police team led by Dy SP Nikhil Gogna apprehended one of the accused. He has been identified as Anil Sharma alias Rinku, son of Shanker Dass of Kanjali.
The other accused, identified as Narinder Kumar alias Kalu, son of Thakur Dass of Shapanu, tehsil and district Reasi, is still at large and a Police has launched a hunt to nab him.
The matter came into light yesterday when mother of the victim approached Police Station Reasi and lodged a complaint that her daughter was kidnapped by the said accused when she was on way her sister’s home at Pharya on August 12.
The accused allegedly took her to an unknown place where they raped her one by one during the intervening night of August 12-13. (Agenices)
