Srinagar: The Kashmir Auto-rickshaw Drivers Union on Sunday staged a protest rally here against the attempts to tinker with Article 35A, which provides special status and privileges to citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Scores of auto Rickshaw drivers gathered in Jahangir Chowk raising pro-kashmir slogans and took out a rally upto MA road Srinagar.
The Union President Showket Ahmad said that, the attempts to tinker with the state subject law would give rise to a state wide agitation .
He said that the union will fight tooth and nail to defend the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
