Every corner of Rafiabad turn emotional once the news of two police cop killing spread in the region

Srinagar (KPS): Emotional scenes from every corner of north Kashmir’s Rafiabad belt soon after news of two cops killed in militant attack in Shopian spread.

Constable Ishfaq Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Aziz Mir resident of Watergam, Mohammad Iqbal Mir son of Abdul Rehman Mir resident of Hardu Chanam Rohama were among cops killed in a militant attack in South Kashmir’s Shopian.

Emotions ran high when the body of Ishfaq Ahmad Mir & Mohammad Iqbal Mir Reached Rafiabad.

Soon after the news of the killing spread his native village, people began travelling to his home to pay condolences to the bereaved family and to take part in funeral prayers.

Both policeman were killed by militants in shopion have reached their homes in watergam & Hardu Chanam ,both from Rafiabad area of Baramula.

People from all walks of life reached his home and waited for the body to arrive.

At about 8pm, the body arrived in an ambulance .The funeral was held at about 10 pm.

Constable Ishfaq Ahmad Mir was buried in his ancestral graveyard at watergam Rafiabad. Large number of People offered Nimaz janaza .(KPS)
