Kashmiri youth accuses Punjab Company for ‘cheating’ Charges baseless: Authorities

Asif Ahmad, a resident of Srinagar said he got a job of admission coordinator in KC Group of Institute Nawanshehr Punjab.
“As I had very much family liabilities, I started working in KC Group of Colleges on February 5, 2018 with pure dedication and honesty. My job was to fetch admissions and do marketing of the college in Kashmir. I was very much happy but then started my worst nightmare. Till I was completely bankrupt as all the money I had saved was spent in the expenses of marketing,” he claimed.
Upon demanding the salary from the college he said that they always released it very much late.
“For the month of May, June they did not release it and thus I was forced to quit my job. And I gave my resignation to the company on July 2, through an email and also requested the college authorities to release my unpaid salary and pending reimbursements,” he said.
After not releasing the salaries, he approached Labour Commissioner Punjab, and asked them to intervene. “They forwarded my case to the Labour Inspector of Nawanshahr who sent two notices to the college management to appear in their offices regarding my case of unpaid salary and pending reimbursement, however college authorities never bothered to answer the notices,” he said.
He has appealed the JK government to help and get his salaries released.
While Vice Chairman K C Group of Colleges Atish denied the charges and claimed that the youth commit “fraud”. “He did fraud and we have registered 420 cases against him. We have already submitted response to Labour Court that he did not work in college for these months he is demanding,” Atish told KNS over phone. (KNS)
