Ganderbal: A day-long disaster management response program was organized by State Disaster Response forces in collaboration with Forest protection forces in Forest University at Behhama where scores of people participated in the awareness program.
During the programme people and students were made aware how to remain prepared at the time of natural disasters like earthquake, flood, fire and nuclear disasters. SDRF were taught safety measures by which vulnerability and damages can be reduced, so that in the event of any catastrophe the people can protect themselves.
In this programme experts also asked the people to aware their family members and others about the measures which need to be taken before and after any natural disaster. During the program SDRF demonstrated the activities carried out during rescue operation.
