Govt forces arrest youth during search operation in southern Kashmir’s Shopian village

Srinagar: Government forces Friday morning cordoned a few houses on Shopian outskirts; conducted extensive searches and detained a youth.

Witnesses said that the government forces cordoned some houses at Heff village. The locals told that the government forces detained one youth, Qaisar Ahmad Dar son of Farooq Ahmad Dar during the search operation.

Heff is the village of popular slain Hizb militant commander Saddam Padder.(KR)
