Hurriyat (M) made a fervent appeal to the United Nations Human Rights Commission and all other human rights organizations of the world to take a serious note of the gross violations of human rights at the hands of forces in Jammu and Kashmir, especially with reference to prisoners of conscience belonging to Jammu and Kashmir.
