Baramulla, Nov 19 : An elderly tourist died under mysterious circumstances at famous tourist resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Official sources told GNS that the tourist identified as Sahibaro Manicrao Solonarie (64) son of Manicrao Solonarie fell unconscious and was rushed to SDH Tangmarg where he breathed last his last.
Sources said that the Sahibaro, a resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra state, apparently died due to suffocation. However, officials said that he died of heart attack.
Chief Executive officer of Gulmarg Development authority Mohammad Haneef Balki while confirming the incident told Global News Service (GNS) that the tourist from Maharashtra died due to heart attack.
Meanwhile, a police officer said that a case under 174 CrPc has been registered in this regard and further investigations were taken up.(GNS)
