16 J&K Police cops become part of NIA
JAMMU: As many as 16 police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police including three senior officers have been inducted into National Investigation Agency.
As per order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department, 16 policemen comprising one Superintendent of Police and two Deputy Superintendents of Police have been inducted into NIA for their exemplary and excellent services in police department.
J&K Home Department today accorded sanctioned of 16 police officials including one Superintendent of Police (SP) and two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a period of three years, an order said.
The order further read that the police personnel deputed to NIA included SP Abdyul Qayoom, DySP Purshotam Mengi, DySP Baljit Singh, Inspector Ranbir Singh, Inspector Om Parkash, Inspector Neeraj Sharma, Inspector Amit Basur, Head Constable Ganesh Dass, Head Constable Madan Lal, Selection Grade Constable Manzoor Ahmed, Selection Grade Constable Angrez Singh, Selection Grade Constable Akbar Ali, Selection Grade Constable Girdhari Lal, Constable Javid Ahmad, Constable Devinder Kumar and Constable Chattar Singh for time bound deputation.(UNI)
