High time for international community to break silence over Human Rights Violations in Kashmir: Firdous Shah

Srinagar (PR): On the eve of international Human Rights Day, J&K high time for international community to break their silence over the gross Human Rights ViolationsDemocratic Political Movement Chairman Firdous Ahmad Shah in a statement has said that it was high time for international community to break their silence over the gross Human Rights Violations being unleashed on the people of Kashmir from the last seven decades and particularly past three decades.

Firdous Ahmad Shah stated that today when whole world is observing Human Rights Day to meet their demands, the Kashmiries are striving for their birth right from the last 70 years. He said world should now intervene on humanitarian grounds to held Kashmiries in achieving their birth right i.e. right to self determination.

Shah said that World rights bodies including the United Nations should now take notice of the ongoing human rights violations in Kashmir and take steps for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
