Srinagar, December 15: Gunfight rages between mujahids and goverment forces in Kharpora, Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
*Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of army’s 55RR, SOG and 182/183 BN CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Sirnoo area.*
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot the hiding mujahids fired upon goverment forces triggering an encounter.
As this report was filed intermittent firing was going on.(GNS)
