Pulwama fallout: Protest held in downtown Srinagar
A protest was held at Nowhatta in downtown Srinagar against the killing of seven civilian in forces’ firing in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
An eye witness said that scores of people, including Hurrriyat activists, staged a protest demonstration at Nowhatta chowk to condemn the killings
He said that the protesters were raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans as they took out a protest rally.
The protesters called for an end to civilian killings and search operations.
As shopkeepers are downing their shutters against the Pulwama massacre. Hundreds of people including Hurriyat activists continue to protest against the Pulwama killings at Nowhatta Chowk Srinagar, demanding an end to CASO, killings and unabated human rights abuses
