Suspended Jammu-Udhampur DMU rail service to resume from Dec 31
Jammu, Dec 29: The commuters will finally heave a sigh of relief with the suspended Jammu-Udhampur DMU rail service set to be resumed from December 31.
Pertinent to mention here that the UNI on December 25 highlighted the concern of people and raised the matter of suspended DMU service.
The rail service was suspended for a period of two months to falicitate “Mahakumbh” from January 15 to March 5 in Uttar Pradesh.
“The service will be restored from Monday (Dec 31),” a railway official here said on Saturday.
He added that the service will operate as per scheduled chart on Pathankot-Jammu-Udhampur route.
