Srinagar, Jan 15 : Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday arrested a lottery seller at Lal Chowk, the nerve centre of the summer capital, a police spokesman said here this evening.
He said acting on specific information regarding the presence of lottery sellers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kothibagh, police arrested a lottery seller who was cheating common masses in Lal Chowk area.The arrested person was identified as Faizan Ahmed Dar son of Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar resident of Narkara Budgam.
A Scooty , a mobile phone used for online ticket booking with bookies and other relevant material was recovered and taken in possession accordingly.
