Video Report | Thousands attend last rites of 18 year old Parvaiz Bhat in Kelam ::

KULGAM: Thousands of people attended the funeral procession of 18 year old militant Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat at Kelam today morning.

Witnesses said that chanting pro-freedom slogans thousands of people including  women and children attended the funeral of slain militant 18 year old Parvaiz Bhat , Who had joined Militant ranks in July last year.

Pertinent to mention that government forces launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Kelam area of Kulgam , after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

As the search was intensified, the hiding militants fired upon forces which was retaliated triggered a gunfight.

In the Gunfight 5 Millitants including Pervaiz Bhat were killed. (Agencies)
