ITBP officer on Yatra security dies due to cardiac arrest
SRINAGAR: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on security duty for Amarnath Yatra died due to cardiac arrest on shortest Baltal route today, when the 40-day-long annual pilgrimage commenced.
Official sources said a 42-year-old ASI Sanjun Singh of 42 Batallion of ITBP suffered a massive heart attack at Bararimarg on Baltal track. (UNI)
