Poonch, March 13 : Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) Chakan Da Bagh, which is the operational center of cross LoC trade between Poonch and Rawlakote, received partial damage after Pakistan resorted to shelling on Wednesday morning.
Officials told KNO that around five mortar shells landed in and near the TFC Chakan Da Bagh, causing damage to a shed and one more structure there.
Walls of both these structures have also suffered damage, officials added.
They further said Pakistan targeted the Trade Facilitation Centre when cross LoC trade was going on and a number of people were present there who had a narrow escape of life.
Officials further added that at the time of shelling, goods loaded trucks from Pakistan side were on way to TFC but were pushed back and no commodities were received from other side.
A total of 31 trucks were about to be de-loaded in TFC Chakan Da Bagh but authorities push back all the trucks.(KNO)
