New Zealand Mosque Terror Attack: Mirwaiz condemns barbaric terror attack in Christchurch

Srinagar:  Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson and Kashmir’s chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday expressed shock and grieve over the barbaric terrorist attack in the two mosques in Christchurch in New Zealand.

In a tweet Mirwaiz said that humanity has once again become the casualty of the the terror attack. He also prayed for the victims of the attack.

Shocked and Deeply grieved by the barbaric attack at twin mosques in #Christchurch New Zealand. Multiple fatalities feared. Once again Humanity becomes a casualty . Condemnation beyond words. prayers for the victims. (SIC),” he tweeted.

At least two gunmen opened fire at two mosques in New Zealand’s Christchurch city on Friday, with the police saying that there were “multiple fatalities”.

The terror attack took place at the Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Masjid, The New Zealand Herald reported.
